Draft for legal review. This page is a plain-language draft and is not yet final.
Privacy policy
Last updated October 5, 2026
This policy explains what information WearOvi collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers wearovi.com, app.wearovi.com and our storefronts and embeds. If something here is unclear, use the message box on our request-access form and a person will answer.
What we collect
- When you request access: your name, email, brand name, website, what you plan to make, an estimate of volume, your message, the page and campaign that brought you (for example a
landerorutm_sourcevalue in the link), and the IP address the request came from (used for rate limiting and abuse prevention). - When you take the quiz: your answers (which choices you picked), the plan we recommended, the page and campaign that brought you, and your email only if you choose to give it. If you then request access, we link your answers to that request.
- When you apply to the incubator: everything on a request-access form plus your brand story, social handles, where your brand is today and what you want help with.
- When you ask about bulk orders or growth marketing: your name, email, brand, website, what you need (pieces, dates, interests, sales range), your message, the page and campaign that brought you, and the IP address the request came from (for abuse prevention).
- When you use the chat: the messages you type are sent to our AI provider to produce an answer. We do not save chat transcripts. We keep basic counts (how many messages, how long answers were) without the text.
- When you have an account: your login details (handled by our sign-in service), your organization, designs, products, orders and the actions you take, which we record in an audit log.
- When someone buys from a brand: the buyer's name, shipping address, email and order details. Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers.
How we use it
- To review access requests and send invites.
- To run the service: make, ship and track orders, pay brands, and support customers.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
- To understand which pages and campaigns bring people to us.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics. The few cookies we do use are listed below.
Cookies
We use only first-party cookies, set by app.wearovi.com, and no advertising or analytics cookies:
- Sign-in: keeps you signed in to your account.
wo_lander: if you arrive through one of our partner sites, remembers which one for 30 days, so we know where your request came from. It holds only that site's short name.wo_ct: if you take our quiz on a partner site, carries your quiz result to the request-access form for up to one hour, then it is removed.
wearovi.com itself also keeps your campaign details and quiz result in your browser tab's session storage until you close the tab.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run WearOvi, each for its own job: Stripe (payments), our production and shipping partners (to make and deliver orders), DigitalOcean (hosting and storage), Brevo (email), OpenAI (the site chat, the design assistant and artwork generation in the studio), and our log and sign-in providers. We may also share information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Access requests and incubator applications: kept while we review them. An approved request becomes part of your account. A declined request is deleted 24 months after the decision. The brand story in an incubator application is removed after 24 months.
- Quiz answers (and the email, if you gave one): one year.
- Bulk and growth-marketing requests: 24 months. The IP address they came from: 30 days.
- Account and order records: as long as your account is active and as required for tax, accounting and returns.
- Security and audit records: at least six months.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw an access request, by using the message box on the request-access form. Some records (such as completed orders) may need to be kept for legal reasons.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and note the date above.
